The Model F-89 has been tested and proven under the severest conditions by men experienced in the truck scraper field. It has been designed with three aims in mind: first, to provide a strong, rugged piece of equipment which would stand up under the most strenuous treatment down through the years; second, to provide a scraper which would be adaptable to different makes and types of trucks; and most important, to design a scraper which can be easily serviced and maintained in the field. The new F-89 has more than fulfilled these requirements.

SPECIFICATIONS*
Unit size: 10' (3.04m), 11' (3.35m) or 12' (3.65m)
Hangerboard: Minimum of 10" (25cm) x 30 lb. Structural channel reinforced by 1/2" (1.26cm) x 8" (20cm) plate and by 4" (10cm) S&C 13.8 lb. Channel the entire length of hinge line with a center bolt bushing.
Hinge line: Solid, 96" linear inches (2.43m) minimum, 660 square inches (.425m squared) of bearing surface area.
Hinge shaft: 2 1/2" (6cm) O.D. carbon steel.
Moldboard size: 1" (2cm) thick x 20" (50cm) wide, heat treated carbon steel.
Moldboard shock absorption: Cusioned by 2 heavy duty Root patented cushion spring shock absorber assemblies.
Moldboard actuation: 2 - 3" (7.61cm) double acting cylinders with nitrated piston rods, mounted horizontally on the scraper by 3/4" (1.9cm) thick reinforced steel trunnion brackets.
Trunnion bearings: 2" (5cm) O.D. x 1 1/4" (3.15cm) carbon steel.
Circle: Minimum of 1" (2cm) thick solid steel 1 pc. design with 4 independent heavy duty mounting legs, of 4" (10cm) S&C channel 13.8 pound per foot.
Power reverse: Dual cylinder power reverse with 2 - 4" (10cm) double acting cylinders.
Reverse cylinder: Rod clevis bosses to be of 2" (5cm) O.D. carbon steel, solid welded to the top and bottom of the hangerboard.
Positions: Scraper has 7 plowing positions.
